So, I've decided to properly commit to this blogging...thing, and hence think it's high time to write about me personally. I know my early posts were a bit of an insight into my life, but not fully. People on the internet are nosy bastards and, unless they feel like they're your roommate, no information into your private life will be enough. But I hope this helps.
(Questions taken from here)
The Basics:
Name: Beth Rose
Nicknames: Bea/Bubbles. I know, cheasy, right? I have my father to thank for that one.
Birthday: 20/08. August baby! Making me the tallest and youngest in School.
Star Sign: Fierce Leo.
Occupation: Writer/English Teacher/Blogger
Appearance:
Hair Colour: Brown
Hair Length: I'm trying to grow out my pixie cut, so my hair is at this weird, shaggy stage right now. Attractive, I know.
Eye Colour: Azul. Which is blue in Spanish (see, I'm educational)
Best Feature: Probably my boobs, I have big boobs. You thought I would be PG, didn't you?
Piercings/Tattoos: Oh most definitely, I'm contemplating doing a whole blog post purely on my beauties.
Righty or Lefty: Lefty and proud, bitches.
Favourite....: I have to say, these are the hardest one's to answer, because my favourite __ changes daily.
Film: Of all time, I'd have to say the Lord of the Rings films, or maybe Pirates of the Caribbean. Anime wise, definitely Howl's Moving Castle, which was the first anime I ever watched and continues to be one of the best in my opinion.
TV Show: Sherlock BBC. Without a doubt. Supernatural and Merlin both come in close second but Sherlock is my ultimate favourite.
Colour: I've been called Grell Sutcliffe before by my friends because of my obsession with the colour Red. If you could see my apartment right now, you would say the same thing. And, if you don't know who Grell Sutcliffe is, shame on you. Go educate yourself.
Song: I physically cannot answer this question because it changes daily. I'm very impulsive and therefore my favourite song of the day changes depending on my mood.
Restaurant: There is this beautiful Tapas restaurant in Barcelona, where I am currently living, called Cuidad Comtal. It's beautiful and won't break the bank! (More on Barcelona here)
Book: I'd have to say Peter Pan. I've loved it ever since I was a child and cannot stop rereading it every few years. There was also an unofficial sequel called 'Peter pan in scarlet' and I've read that almost as much as the original. It's written for a younger audience but I love the feeling of nostalgia I get when I read it.
Currently:
Feeling: Good. Next weekend I am taking a weekend trip with my roommate. We are going North from Barcelona to a lovely area called Costa Brava. Maybe you've heard of it. Bring on the beach!
Single or Taken: Ain't nobody got time for a relationship with the job I'm in, I hardly have time for myself!
Eating: I've started to experiment more in what I cook. I love my mother's recipes but, because we have such little time to actually cook, we are looking for quick yet yummy recipes for dinner at 1am when we get home from work.
Listening to: I am a premium member of an app called Deezer. I love this app, not only can I download songs for when I'm offline, it has a feature called Flow which is a never ending playlist of songs recommended for you. It's an amazing way to discover music in your favourite genre. I love it.
Thinking about: Travelling. We'll get to that later, I promise
Watching: RuPaul's Drag Race. Consider me addicted. It's amazing!
Wearing: Pajamas. What else?
Well, I hope you're satisfied with that little insight into my life.
There are some things that I've mentioned that I'm planning to make future blog posts about.
Comment below and let me know what you thought of this!
Adios for now!
Bea

COURSEWORK + EXCUSES
Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't written in a while, I promised myself I would update my two bloggers regularly...bad Bea. Bad.
Although, I do have an excuse. EXAMS. COURSEWORK.THE THINGS THAT ARE RUINING MY LIFE. Urgh. Effort, and responsibilities. I hate those words.
Yeah, college life is getting amazingly stressful at this moment in time. I have 5 weeks to prepare for my Photography and Fine Art exams (which are both 12 HOURS LONG BY THE WAY. 12), which I am not looking forward to.
BUT! All is not lost! After I finish my last exam, which is the 11th of June (lucky me), I am going to be free as a bird. I'm not going to Uni, and am actually going to get on with my life! (yay!)
I am going to have a 'gap year' of sorts, where I work a menial job until I get enough money to go travelling. But, during that time, I will be writing! Getting some freelance writing jobs and also, keeping my bloody blog up to date. Hopefully, around that time, there will be a lot more short stories, or even the beginning of a full story, on my second blog Story of a Tea Loving Teenager.
It's all going for me at the moment, I just have to make my way past all of the inevitable anxiety and panic attacks, migraines and, of course my favourite, mental breakdowns. Fun fun fun.
I'm keeping this short but sweet, because it's like 1:00AM and I had a sudden urge to write something on here.
I would rant about how I absolutely hate the education system, but I'm too tired. Maybe some other time, I'm sure plenty of other opportunities will come up for said subject.
So, there we go. The tea loving teenager's sad little life in a nutshell at the moment: coursework + excuses + constantly tired.
On the plus side, I've found out that drinking tea helps a bit with my migraines, it seems almost mandatory that I must consume at least 20 cups of tea a day...obviously...
So, yeah.
See you guys later (and sorry if you don't here for me until after June 11th (not my fault, it's the education's))

A trip to Ann Summers
Some would say that spending over 2 hours in Ann Summers would be a waste of time. Obviously, those people have never been to Ann Summers. Oh my god, they're amazing. Now, I'm not one of those people who never talks about sexual stuff, because I am such an open person. I don't understand why it's such a taboo subject. It's a part of most of our daily lives, yet, we still can't talk about things like that without getting embarrassed. Well, not me.
It's lovely that I'm starting up my blog like this. Hi, my name's Beth, by the way. Ha ha. I have another blog on here, where I'm starting to publish all of my short stories. You can find that blog here.
Ooh, I did a link thingy, exciting!
Yeah, I have a story behind my embarrassing name as well. When I was younger (I'm talking about three or four years ago), I used to insist on people calling me BethRose, so, when I think decided to set up a Blogger and never actually use it, that's the name I chose (which I cannot for the life of me change. Oops). And I'm still using the email it's connected to. Fun. So I'm going to have to live with it, I'm afraid, and you'll have to too. Ha ha.
Okay, back to the sex talk. (Don't worry. It's not going to be explicit.)
It's 2014, for Gods sake, I think we should be able to freely talk about sex without people thinking it's inappropriate. Admittedly, I can see where people are coming from if we talk about other people's sex lives (Personal space/live etc. Whatever), but if you talk about it in general, we shouldn't be ashamed of it.
It's decided, I am going to be the World's Most Embarrassing Grandma.
I can just imagine it now: me at age 83, sitting in a rocking chair, covered in tattoos and piercings, fag in my hand, embarrassing the hell out of my grandchildren as I talk about 'how I used to do it in my day'.
I can't wait.
Oh yeah, that's another thing. Tattoos. (Gasp)
My mother is weird, to say the least. Last year, when I was 16, I went out and got a tattoo (stay in school, kids). I managed to hide it from my mum for quite a while, and when I told her, she didn't say much about it (much to my surprise, I was expecting to get screamed at and grounded for the rest of my life, but none of that happened). I'm also planning to get another tattoo around Christmas time this year (I'm 17. I know, I know. I'm a bad influence, but it's really not my responsibility to change myself just so kids will like me.) and she didn't say much about that either. Now, I know what you must be thinking: what a cool mum! And, yeah, she is one amazing mother, but only if you don't want a lip piercing. She hates piercings. And I mean HATE.
So, riddle me this: Why would my mother be fine with my having tattoos at a young age for, potentially, the rest of my life, and not be okay with me getting a hole in my face which would easily grow out when I take the piercing out? Weird.
Ah, here we have another issue that I don't understand. In the UK (I don't know about any other country) the minimum (legal) age to get a tattoo done is 18. And when teenagers get tattoos, you can guarantee that they will have someone come up to them and say: "You'll regret that later on in life". Okay, I may, I may not. But, this is what I don't understand, how is it stupid to decide to have a tattoo at 17-18, when you have to choose what career you want to have for the rest of your life at 16 years of age? No one's going to tell me I'm going to regret my choices in that area, will they.
Ranting is a lovely start to this blog. It shows everyone just how angry I am at society.
Oh, yeah, and you've probably noticed I'm incredibly sarcastic. That's basically my personality summed up in a word.
Anyways, peace out, people.
